xAI's embattled Grok chatbot is coming to Tesla EVs in the UK and Europe.

During a fourth-quarter earnings update, Tesla ( TSLA) revealed that it had invested $2 billion into CEO Elon Musk’s xAI. Following that, SpaceX ( SPACE ), the aerospace and defense powerhouse led by Musk, acquired xAI in an all-stock deal that valued the combined company at $1.25 trillion.

Tesla allows owners to choose from multiple Grok “modes”. Standard options include Assistant, Language Tutor, Therapist, Storyteller and Meditation. There are also novelty modes such as Conspiracy and Doctor, alongside child-friendly settings including Kids Story Time and Kids Trivia Game.
