Thomas Hammock has stepped away from his post as head football coach at Northern Illinois University to return to the NFL. Hammock, who spent five seasons as running backs coach with the Baltimore Ravens just before coming to NIU in 2019, was hired as an assistant coach with the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks this week.
