The Detroit Tigers’ season opener is just 51 days away, but the team’s television rights are still up in the air.
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Detroit Tigers are leaving FanDuel Sports Network, along with eight other MLB teams, as the network’s owner, Main Street Sports Group, struggles to find a buyer. The Sports Business Journal reported on Monday that the Tigers are likely to move to MLB Media.
The Tigers currently have 16 nationally-televised games for the upcoming 2026 season, though that number may grow as TNT Sports has yet to release its second-half schedule for Tuesday TBS broadcasts. Sunday, April 5: St. Louis Cardinals at Detroit Tigers, 7 p.m. ET (Peacock).
