High winds are knocking out power in parts of Northeast Ohio.

FirstEnergy is reporting over 50,000 Ohio customers are facing power outages after Friday's severe winds.

“Strong winds can make it harder for crews to restore power and may slow restoration efforts," according to FirstEnergy.
