Biopharma tools and services provider Thermo Fisher Scientific is set to lay off more than 100 workers as the Waltham-based firm is closing its Franklin facility amid an executive shakeup.

Panera Bread will be closing its fresh dough facility in Franklin next month, 12 News has learned.

Panera Bread is closing its Franklin bakery facility, terminating employment of all 92 of the site’s staff as the fast casual chain looks to outsource its bakery operations.
