The National Weather Service says there is a 40% percent chance of scattered snow showers in store Sunday for Long Island. It's 26 degrees outside at 9 a.m. Friday, headed into the low 40s, and the National Weather Service said we could hit 49 degrees Saturday.
Blizzard warnings were issued Saturday for New York City, New Jersey, southern New England and coastal communities along the East Coast.
