By Kanishka Singh WASHINGTON, March 12 (Reuters) - The U.S. Trade Representative's office said late on Thursday it had begun a second set of Section 301 unfair trade practices probes of 60 economies in relation to what it called failures to take action on forced labor.
The forced-labor probes follow Section 301 investigations launched on Wednesday, targeting excess industrial capacity across more than a dozen economies.
A trade investigation focuses on the European Union, China, India and other countries and will likely lead to tariffs to replace those struck down by the Supreme Court.
