SoftBank Group registered a record profit in its fiscal Q3 2025 (ending 31 December 2025), with a $4.2 billion gain in the value of its OpenAI investment driving a return to the black.
Boosted by OpenAI returns, SoftBank swung to a $1.6 billion profit last quarter after losing $2.4 billion in the same quarter last year.
