Last year, an explosion at U.S. Steel's Clairton Coke Works outside Pittsburgh killed two U.S. Steel workers and injured 11 others, including contractors.
Kendrick Antonio Simpson was pronounced dead at 10:19 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.
Police said an FIR has been lodged against the owners and managers of the two factories, who also sustained injuries in the incident.
