Some of the conservators have even been in the front area under the hood of the bus working to remove dirt and grease (which is acidic and abrasive), then consolidating the painted surface with a protective coating that slows its deterioration. We always say a hike takes our family three times longer than the All Trails app says it should 😂. As our kids get older we are making a lot of improvement to our pace! This 4.4 mile hike to Blue Lake 💧 in the North Cascades 🌲, with 1050 foot of elevation gain, took us three hours and twenty four minutes to complete ⏰.
