Shower valve plumbing tip…I’m using a Delta R22000 valve and the diverter requires a drop ear. I want the wood blocking to be plumb so that the finished trim will seal against my tile. Also, the drop ear should be at least 4 inches from the main stud wall, this helps me spin the trim onto the brass nipple without it hitting the tile.
