DOPPLER ANALYSIS: A Doppler ultrasound is a noninvasive test that can be used to estimate the blood flow through your blood vessels by bouncing high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) off circulating red blood cells. In podiatry we can use a doppler to assess the 2 arteries that supply blood to the feet; the dorsalis pedis artery and the posterior tibial artery.
