Though roughly 92% of sexual assaults are committed by men, female predators do exist. Women tend to SA children for different reasons than men. The most common reasons are under the direction or coercion of a man, as a way to punish or get revenge on the child, and because they believe they are in love with their victim, as we often see in cases of teachers and their students. Incidents of SA (both kinds) are grossly underreported in general. But even more so when the predator is a female. When
