Some slab sculptures from ceramics 1! These were some in progress pics and videos but today was the last day working on them in class. The project was to make something using stiff slabs that had at least 6 sides. They could make a cube, box with lid, or beyond. A lot chose to get really creative with it, which is why this is one of my favorite projects. It’s not easy to teach (rulers?? Templates?? Whaat?) but it’s worth it…I think. I’ll post more pics when they’re all glazed in a couple weeks #
