New York City - meet your new Police Officers! We’re proud to welcome 433 new officers who graduated from the police academy today. They were born in 21 countries and speak 34 different languages. For 26 of them, this is the second time putting on the uniform, after serving our nation in the armed forces. Make sure to say Hi when you see them out there - they’re all excited to begin their career as New York’s Finest, and to serve and protect you. | NYPD
