In a lot of spiritual spaces, feeling well and good is characterized as a centered reward of being in alignment. Slowly, the fear of feeling becomes instilled, and we avoid or dilute our deeper level emotions, misperceiving them as signs to re-align, instead of honoring them as what they are: our gentle guides and teachers highlighting our normal, balanced human experience. Feeling awful isn’t inherently unbalanced. The concept of yin and yang energy is often conceptualized as better or worse, i
